Below is some of the work I am most proud of. My reel and resume have additional projects that give a more complete look at my journey. Some of my most memorable experiences involved taking the stage at the Beacon Theatre in the play called "Harlem Coffee Shop," where I got to share the stage alongside Darren Dewitt Henson (Soulfood) and Capone (Showtime at the Apollo). I was also typecast in a sea of Mafia-based projects, including Tony and Tina's Wedding (playing Tony). In Clem Caserta’s spin-off of A Bronx Tale, "Jimmy Whispers Returns to Mulberry Street," I found myself getting chased and beaten by a gang in Chinatown, playing the drugged-out best friend of the son of a Mafia Head (played by Ricky Aiello).

HOW I BECAME THAT JEWISH GUY

It was a tale of acceptance, culture, and chicken balls as Jason Weinstein from Sheepshead Bay gets one last shot at fame but is forced to recruit his dysfunctional Jewish Family, hoping they can give him the portrayal of a lifetime to secure the role.  This feature film that I wrote and directed was produced by Steven. L Rubin www.jiffyfilm.com , a production one-man-band with experiences that range from social media posts to fully produced long-form video projects. You can view the film by clicking on the YouTube video below.

It was an official selection of the New Filmmaker's Showcase in New York. There's an interview that dives deeper into the film with Alex Ellefson from The Brooklyner

The Celestial Field

A play I’m very proud of, The Celestial Field, debuted at the New York Theatre Festival this past summer in 2025. It takes a hard look at mortality as a family reunites in the afterlife to deal with their family dynamic under an umbrella of heavy subjects, including suicide, war, and ultimately love. I included a copy of the play that was recorded on opening night.

The Corner Sketch

I’m shopping around a home for my new full length play The Corner Sketch which just recently advanced to the second round of the Austin Film Festival in the playwriting category.

Synopsis:
When Felix, an eccentric prodigy playwright with a peculiar formatting style, wins a chance at a highly esteemed professional contest in New York City, he awakens a crew of misfit artists who were left to rot in creative purgatory. Along his journey, he is forced to face the truth of his demons that are hidden in the corner sketch in an early draft. It is now up to Felix to decide if he can accept his past to ultimately move forward. It’s an underdog tale like no other, but could be described as Good Will Hunting meets Rocky…if Rocky were a playwright.

The Missing Stories

THE MISSING STORIES was inspired by a one act play I wrote “Checkmate” at the Strawberry One-Act Festival. This was my feature film Directorial Debut which was first screened at Quad Cinema in New York:
